大晦日ですね。
Emacs存続の危機の中 ですが、
Emacs 25.2リリースのpretestが出ました。
さっそくインストールして
25.1.91でこの記事を書いています。
$ wget ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/emacs/pretest/emacs-25.1.91.tar.xz $ unar emacs-25.1.91.tar.xz $ cd emacs-25.1.91 $ ./configure --disable-largefile --with-x-toolkit=gtk3 \ --without-toolkit-scroll-bars --without-xaw3d \ --without-xim --without-compress-install \ --with-sound=no --without-pop --without-xpm \ --without-tiff --without-rsvg --without-gconf \ --without-gsettings --without-selinux --without-gpm \ --without-makeinfo --with-x --with-modules --with-xwidgets && make $ sudo make install
Emacs開発者は
必ず危機を乗り切ってくれると
僕は信じています。
万が一間に合わなかったとしても、
専用ビルド環境を構築するなどの
抜け道があると思います。
だから僕はEmacsを使い続けます。
