概要
今回紹介するelispは地味だけど「縁の下の力持ち」というのに相応しいです。
Emacsにおいて「無視すべきファイル・ディレクトリ」というのがありますよね。
たとえば、ファイルを開く場合にバックアップファイルや
コンパイルされたバイナリなどを開きたいとは思いません。
Emacsには数々のパッケージがありますが、
各パッケージごとに「無視すべき対象」を個別に設定する必要があり、
とても面倒です。
そこで ignoramus.el を使って、それらを統一してしまいましょう。
ignoramus.elの特徴は、以下の3つです。
- 無視すべき対象の設定がものすごく多い
- 多くのパッケージに対応している
- 新しいパッケージに簡単に対応させられる
インストール
パッケージシステムを初めて使う人は
以下の設定を ~/.emacs.d/init.el の
先頭に加えてください。
(package-initialize)

初めてignoramusを使う方は
以下のコマンドを実行します。
M-x package-install ignoramus
アップグレードする方は、

そのためにはpackage-utilsパッケージが必要です。
M-x package-install package-utils (初めてアップグレードする場合のみ) M-x package-utils-upgrade-by-name ignoramus
